QUARTET RELEASE

A line-up built around instrumental music and improvisation.

Since the 1990s, Roberto Rosemberg has developed original work through his own groups, with guitar and acoustic guitar at the center of a language connecting jazz, blues, Brazilian music and Afro-Latin rhythms.

In the Roberto Rosemberg Quartet, that path takes on a compact line-up open to interaction: Roberto Rosemberg on guitar, Tino Junior on sax and flute, Carlos Duba on bass and Helbe Machado on drums.

The Quartet's repertoire combines compositions with jazz, blues, bossa nova and samba-jazz themes, always leaving room for improvisation and for arrangements to change from one performance to the next. The Ginga show captures this approach through the dialogue between guitar, winds and rhythm section.

Live recordings include Batida Diferente, Ginga and Influência do Jazz, along with other performances available on Roberto Rosemberg's official channel.
